Someone gave me a bike today. It's been quite a while since I've ridden and I never got into repairs. The tire frame doesn't look bent. The tire rubber is quite worn as tires go quickly in So. Fla. Is it likely there's a bubble in the inner tube. I know little about these things.
Ok, I looked. I see a bubble near stem.. it's visible from both sides. I'm guessing that's it.
Obviously, I'm not the enthusiast, but since it was free and we're moving to a quieter area, I took it. I appreciate it.. and I like Schwinn's so I probably will try to find a tire at a garage sale or buy one on Ebay. Not a priority to me.. just a novelty, and not a bad idea w/rising gas prices.
