I was pulling out of an apartment complex onto a busy street that had 5'o clock traffic. I stopped at the stop sign and saw a bike approching to my left on a sidewalk. The traffic had stopped to let me in since there was a red light so I started to turn right. As I'm turning, the guy on the bike swerves off of the sidewalk into the street and cuts in front my car. He stopped right in front of it, I suppose because he expected to get hit and slammed his hand on my hood. My hood now has a dent and he rode off. Was I wrong in this situation?
The cyclist wasn't in front of me though. He was to my left on the sidewalk. I was already pulling into the street when he drove off of the sidewalk into the street, stopped, and slammed his hand on my car. I wanted to get out and beat his face in, or call the cops, but my friend had to be somewhere.
