Bichon that hikes his leg to pee in house.?

If I adopt a 2 yr old Bichon, how do I get him to not hike his leg to pee in the house? He just started this a few months ago. He is not fixed. Will this help any?

More outside potty breaks & a limit on the water intake (don't deprive just limit) WILL work..

you are supposed to fix him before he ever starts hiking, if you did then he would never hike. now, fixing him may help but may not. just punish him with a stern loud NO and a timeout away from the family and other pets when he does it, he will learn. you just have to train him not to do so

Yes, neutering him should help.

Put him out side and tell him no bad dog when he does it.
