Bible verses to help me feel better?

Well if you read the book of Jeremiah and what God said to him, you will learn that "before you were in your mother's womb"...I knew you! And God is no respecter of persons....He is the same yesterday, today and forever. So your child is already waiting to meet you again in heaven, and you can take comfort in knowing that. And there is an appointed time for each of us to die....so we don't know the reason why this happened....but one day you will know your child who is waiting to meet you.

I find great comfort in reading the Psalms...especially Psalms 37 which at one time in my life I read and "rested on" every day while going through a very hard time.

You have given you life to Jesus, and you will grow and learn how to walk with Him as you get into the Bible...which are God's words to you...His guidebook for your life. Learn to take a verse....read it....ask God how to apply it to your own life.....and as you do this you will grow immensly and find the comfort you are looking for. Learn the verses....write them in your mind...because the Holy Spirit will use them also to teach you.

In the Psalms which are written primarily by David, while he was going through some very hard times....you can read the promises God gave...the blessings He promises "when" you follow Him.

We are not perfect...we are sinners saved by God's grace. When we sin, we confess our sin and He forgives and forgets as well. And we walk day by day, one step at a time. When you need comfort...go first to Him...in prayer...in thanksgiving...and then make your requests for what you need. And He will show Himself to you in amazing ways.

And last of all... pray for those who hurt you. So pray for your "first love" to also find Him.

I went through one very crisis time when I felt all were against me while my mother was also dying and found myself crying out to God...."help me....I cannot do this alone..." And can't describe the immense peace that overwhelmed me. God is there for you every day. And someday, you will meet that special child waiting for you.

Well.. today, was the day I joined a church for the first time. I've accepted that Jesus was my saviour, my god.. and I strive to follow his examples to the best of my abilities.. I forgave my first love. We've had a lot of problems, and I've hated her for it. But, I forgive her. If I cannot forgive others how can I be forgiven myself?.. yet, I've been present with a challenge.. I found out that my first child has been aborted. I know it is just as my fault as hers, but I forgive her. But I feel horrible. I know god is always with me.. but I was wondering if there were any bibles verses that would help me feel better, if just a bit?
