Bible says that Sun was there before the first day of creation! but why people says sun was created on 4th day?
Sun was already there before he started the creation on earth.
read genesis 1:5 carefully:
genesis 1:5 ......And there was evening, and there was morning --the first day. (it is meant about Sun rising and sun setting)
but the name "SUN" was not given on first day!
Infact Sun was there before. It has so much of fuel. Earth was revolving around the Sun. But there was no fire on sun until 4th day of creation.
God Lit the Sun on 4th day. (until 4th day there was no Nuclear fusion on Sun)
Nuclear fusion started on 4th day onwards.
first day God created the Light
4th day he initiated the nuclear fusion (Lit the sun).
In the Old Testment, Job 26:7 explains that the earth is suspended in space,
Job 26:10 is "He described a circle upon the face of the waters, until the day and night come to an end." A spherical earth is also described in Isaiah 40:21-22--"the circle of the earth."!
if one dont understand, it doesnt mean that Bible is wrong!

If God can able to create things from nothing, he can create begetation without light.
how ever first day God created the Light! infact God is Light, his light is brighterthan Sun.
that is enough for vegetation until sun was created.!!!
