Just making an update and record that I had transforaminal epidural injections (Right and left sides) series of 3x2 injections in June, 09 for severe bi-lateral sciatic pain all the way to the toes on both legs from central canal hernation L5/S1 and pain resolved in legs to about a pain level 2-3. This past week injections have worn off and back in pain about 7 at night - granted I am on fentanyl patch - thank goodness. So that lasted about 5 months. I am going to get another set in the next couple weeks. Guess my cervical and thoracic injections will have to wait their turn.
