BH-800 Bluetooth and Nokia E61

I use a BH-800 with my E70. I would guess their bluetooth implementations are comparable. I'm relatively happy with the pairing. I occaisonally lose connection. It immediately recovers, but resets the volume to the lowest setting. And sometimes I get more static than I would like. This is my first BT headset, so I don't have a lot to compare it against, but I decided it was fine for my main use: talking in the car with the phone on the seat next to me.

But you use it with E50 right not E61?

I see that there is not a lot of Nokia's Bluetooths compatible with the E61?

E61 owners, please reports back which one you have a success with.
I'm leaning towards the BH-800 but want to make sure before I spent ~$150.

Thank you

mine works just fine. i have the bh800 and e61. i am currently using it to and my phone is about 10 feet away. no static at all no disconnects. i wanted to test the range so i slid the phone across the floor and it didn't have any problem except the dog went to chase it, lol. no problems with sound quality or disconnects.

edit: i can make static if i cover the headset with my hand and turn it so the signal would have to go through my head at a distance of 15 feet, if i remove my hand, it is fine even with my head turned. I am using it to stream mp3s over it right now and it works great.

I use a samsung WEP200 which is very very small and has no disconnection problems with my E61. Actually it was faster than the Nokia set which I also tried (don't know the model but had some wishbone ear hook)

just ordered the BH800 for my E61. Everthing is okay with the headset. However, when I'm on a call and the headset is connected, I don't hear the beep to notify me that I have a incoming call. I have the same issue witht he JX10. I gave up on the JX10 b/c it won't stay connected.

Can someone help me out with this issue, it sounds like something to do with the phone it self??

Same problem here with "call waiting". I've seen other reports with the E series (not sure about the N series). Seems to be a bug. Hopefully will get fixed w/ firmware.

Actually, it would be interesting to know if the new E61 firmware fixes this problem...as well as the volume reseting to 0 problem.

I just got a BH-800 to use with my Nokia 6133. So far I cannot get them to work together. They pair ok but the sound is not routed to/from the headset, it stays on the phone. The headset has worked properly with a Nokia 8801 and a Motorola RAZR. Anyone else have this problem?
