BFN at 14dpo with short luteal phase too early to test?

Ok here is my situation:

I temp my bbt so i know that i am currently 15dpo. I ovulated early this month (cd 20 instead of cd28) and i usually have a 12 day luteal phase. Current symptoms are sore nipples which has now turned into sore breasts, feeling sick all the time goes away a little when i eat something, feeling tired and waking up hot during the night but freezing in the morning and higher then normal temps.

My questions are:

If i ovulated early could this mean my luteal phase is going to be longer (currently 15dpo with no AF)?

If I am pregnant could it take longer to show up on a hpt with a short luteal phase (even though i used FRER)?
I thought it might take longer to get a positive with a short luteal phase compared to someone with a 14 day luteal phase.

I am not sure your luteal phase has anything to do with the pregnancy test.

Test again in two days if no AF. If negative, schedule an appointment with doc.

Sounds promising-good luck to you!

Edit: I don't see why it would take longer. The tests measure HCG, which increases after the egg implants. That has nothing to do with your luteal phase.
