bf2 weapons unlocks?

can i unlock bf2 Special forces weapons, in the original bf2 without having to buy the sf expansion pack when playing online?. I have seen people using BF2 Sf weapons when playing online, i can steal their kits and use SF weapons without even having the Sf expansion pack, so i was wondering if i could unlock the weapons without buying the expansion.
