BF just bought a street bike and now is getting screwed with the deal the

motor cycle store gave him? My bf bought a Street bike about 4 months ago and got a really good deal on it. But the deal was that his down payment would be a dirt bike he had that he didn't use anymore now they had never seen the bike but it was a blind trade and they signed contracts and everything. Well now they don't want the dirt-bike (for the down payment)and now they are pursuing him to pay them $1000 for down payment! Now he is wondering if he should take this matter to court because the motor cycle rep isn't keeping his end of the deal because the guy knew it was a blind trade and that would be his down payment (and the dirt-bike wasn't even bad conditions)Now they want him to pay $1000 for a down payment because they don't want the dirt-bike.
What are his options or what should he do?
Should he take this matter to court?
