I didn't know that. I'll ask them about it next time I call to make a programming change. Thanks!

Movie Entertainment always seemed cheap to me (maybe it's the paper) and the articles were crap, but I wish Bell TV had more movie info (and less sports). At least I don't have to look at 100 movies (90% 1989 straight to video comedies starring Steve Guttenberg) to find one I want.
Isn't the new magazine for the west coast too? Did Movie Central people used to get a magazine for that channel?

hi, does any one know if there is a website of movie entertainment feature magazine? b'cause i just subscribe to tmn and I will like to know whats on it without always going on the internet on tmn. thanks.

i am contemplating subscribing to Vu Magazine (i think it's about $4.50/month)...does anyone in here have it, is it worth it?

I subbed to Movie Entertainment Magazine through a $15.99 special offer. The first issue arrived a week late with a bill. The second issue never arrived. I called to see what the status was. They didn't answer the phone and didn't call back after I left a message. No wonder EV wanted to dump these turkeys.

Seems terribly overpriced to me, especially for month old and possibly inaccurate listings. Zap2it has free listings that are more complete and more accurate than anything EV offers, including the interactive guide. Maybe EV should try to improve its interactive guide listings rather than trying to screw customers out of an extra $4.50/mo for a paper guide. EV's guide data is next to useless for most channels, especially for NBR. Dishnet has 7 day listings for its PVRs. What's EV got?

I was disapointed to hear this as well.

The only thing that I liked in the E magazine was the complete list of all the movies playing that month. I would look through it each month and set my PVR to record any movies that I was interested in. The articles were all useless, so if Bell's magazine would print a complete TMN listing in their magazine along with their "picks" then I think that would be very helpful. The picks that Bell includes are sometimes helpful, (There was 2-3 shows that I recorded this month based on seeing them in the Bell magazine), but I do prefer a complete listing instead.

^^perhaps they were doing the same to many EV subs and that is why they stopped dealing with them?

Entertainment rag sent me another bill so I called again. Got straight through this time. They said they didn't send the second issue because they didn't receive payment. Due to the problems I had with them before (missing and late issues), I was waiting for the second issue to arrive on time before submitting the payment. We were at a standoff, so I told them to just forget about the whole thing. Not a good way to keep customers.
