It will be a lot easier for that many people to get in and out of a minivan than an SUV. I have two car seats in the back of my SUV and my wife sits in between the two car seats.
I have to get the stroller in the back, and get one of my daughters out of the car first, before my wife can get out of the SUV.
I borrowed my parents' minivan for a trip recently... and with the same seating arrangements, my wife could move freely in the van. And with the wider sliding doors on the minivan, I didn't need to do anything before my wife could get out.
It was easier for both of us, because I was able to unload our luggage, while she took care of our daughters.
