Better way to sync to outlook now?

I bought and use companionlink to sync my G1' contacts and calendar etc with my desktop's outlook. I am rooted and running CM's latest ROM. Is there a better or easier way to do it now that android has been around for a fair amount of time?

It depends on how you're using Outlook. If you're using Outlook as an Exchange client, and your work policies it, then Touchdown is still the best option to sync directly to your phone instead of going through Gmail.

Personally, I use *both* Touchdown and CompanionLink because I like to have everything synchronized and use the contacts and calendaring in both web-based Gmail and on the phone.
