commission"!!, more proper way? I work in the jewelry dept and we get paid by the hour, plus comish ;)
Everyone is so competitive, its dog eat dog, especially around this holiday season. Im new...and have been there for only 2 weeks. I am doing everything I can to stick around past 'seasonal months'...and to help ensure this...of course it pays (in many ways) to sell the heck out of that jewelry dept.

I had a slight problem with a co worker who is very dominant. SItuatation goes like this: I help a lady out for half an hour, she wants to buy a necklace...she travels around the store, and the dominant man ends up finding her and helping her buy another product. He was controlling in not wanting to give me my share for helping her earlier he simply stated that if I was helping her, I should have told him b/c he wasted 15 minutes of his time selling to her. Well he was on the other side of the store, and I think he should have probably asked to the gal "Hi has anyone been working with you" or "Have you been helped my any of our assosiates yet" ANYTHING really.....

So heres my question.........is there ANY appropriate way of asking my customers to return to me if they decide to come back and shop, whether it be 30 minutes later/etc???

I dont want to say "I get paid by commission, so if you could return to me" blah blah blah =)
It just sounds a little cheap =) Or fake.....

What can I say....can ya help a girl out =)

??
