Not to be confused with the iptv thread.

As most BellTV(sat) HD users know, they have moved the HD channels to the 1000's area.

Wouldn't is make more sense for BellTVto do what Dishnetwork does which is duplicate the channel numbers for HD?
Example:
TSN is on ch400, TSNHD would also be on ch400 in the guide. Every channel that has a SD version and HD version would have both channels next to each other.
If you want all the HD channels together just press guide until it only shows the HD channels like we can now.

See ESPN in the pic below.

I like all my HD channels grouped together, so I don't have to dig through all the SD channels looking for what I want. 90% of my viewing is HD.

So is mine, thats why the ALL HD selection in the guide is still there. I find it's easier to remember the channel numbers this way.

I would prefer to have my hd channel in the 1000's but with the same number of the sd channel. exemple tsn 400. tsn hd 1400. tcm 292, tcm hd 1292. so far the hd in the 1000's is a pain in the .... they are not place in the right spot. because it is kind of hard to remember the 1000's number for hd channels....

or they should do has dishnetwork seems easier.

I have just used the option to create MINE guide with only the channels I watch. This way I exclude all the old HD channel numbers.

That is exactly what I did too harryhoo, I have aslo locked my system and hidden all locked channels, it gets rid of the HD in the 800's (Except the Aquariom Channel, my cats like that one) and all the French stuff that i will never watch anyway.

I wonder why Bell has not moved the HD-PPV channels in the 800's to the 1000's like it has all the other HD channels?

It makes you wonder if they have any intention of eliminating the 800's.

I do what Pinza said, lockout the redundant and unwanted channels so I don't have to see them in the guide. But when is Bell going to just get rid of the old HD channels in the 800s (the ones that were moved to the 1000s)?

I think Bell plans on moving the HD PPV channels to the 300's with the rest of the PPV. There are currently about 6 HD PPV channels starting at 829 and there are another 4 or 5 HD PPV channels around 330 that are not the same. There are also two duplicate channels there already.
