I'm really... not sure what he has.
About 5 days ago, he developed a small white dot on one of his pectoral fins. After a couple of days, it grew a bit and then fell off. Now he has another of those spots on the opposite pectoral fin. It too has grown over the past day or so. It does seem to be taking part of his fins with it when it falls off. This sound like... maybe fungal fin rot?
I don't believe it's ich. Ich stays circular, right? Because this is starting out as a small circle, but then lengthening out into a line. He isn't really acting like himself either, not as active as normal, but he is still reacting to me and eating.
I'm just confused, because there's no reason he should have fin rot, his water is as clean as it can be. He's in a 5 gallon, filtered and heated tank. PH is stable around 7.4 and Ammonia is 0.

-Melafix
-Quick Cure (Malachite green and Formalin)
-Rid Ick+
-Hikari Betta Revive (Malachite green and Methylene Blue)
I'm going to start out giving salt baths since this isn't too bad yet. But what would you recommend in case that doesn't help?
