Betta Fish - PH and Temperature?

Okay guys I have 2 questions!
Does PH level matter a lot a lot or just a little (the tank's PH level is good by the way)

and

does water temperature matter a lot. Like does its life depend on it?

For ph, anywhere in the 6.0-8.0 is fine for most fish we buy. It's best to have a stable ph then one that fluctuates which is what usually happens when you try to alter it. Just let it be.

For temps, 78-80°F is good for bettas. Yes, this one will matter. If the water is too cool for them, they'll start losing their color, not eating, acting lethargic, get sick, and eventually die.

Ideally, the water's Ph should be around 6-7.5 for a Betta, and the temperature does matter BTW. You should have a heater, and the temperature should be from 70 -82 degrees,
AS long as Ph isn't too high/too low, it should be fine. Better to not mess with it. A stable Ph is key. Same goes for temperature. Tropical fish require warmer water.
