betta fish people help!!?

so i have a filtered one gallon tank with a light (dont tell me bout the tank size cuz i know that i just had to save him from walmart with only 20 bux )will the light heat the water enough?r there cheap heaters that i can buy to hookont to the tank or what?if the water isnt at temp. what will happen to him?plz help
