My male Betta hasn't made a bubble nest in the past two months. The past week and a half he's been lying at the bottom of his tank and only comes up to eat and get air. I know the water quality if fine because I have all the stuff to test everything with. I've had him for five months, and I know it's not old age because he had a huge growth spurt after I bought him from the pet shop. (About a month after I got him he ended up getting ich, and I used Rid-Ich on him, which cleared it up in about a week. He lost color once he had ich, and never seemed to get it back.) Ever since he's been lying at the bottom of the the tank, he's lost more color, and it turning more gray. He's red and blue, and the red on him looks more brown and I can see through his fins. Whenever he tries to swim around he spazzes, and then sinks to the bottom just like a rock would if you threw it in the water. The past day he's been at the bottom, and his positioning is weird. His tail is down on the rocks, and his face is facing up. He literally looks like he's standing on his tail. And then after trying to swim a little, and then floating back down, he'll lay on his side on the rocks.
I know it isn't fin rot because his fins look fine. I know it isn't ich because there's no white spots on him. I know it isn't fungus or velvet because I don't see any on him. I know it isn't popeye because his eyes are fine. I know it's not the temperature that is the problem because my female Betta has been fine. Can someone please help me? I tried being as descriptive as possible.
P.s: I feed him pellets and dried bloodworms, switching every other day between the two. I give him four of the pellets on the days he eats those, and two dried bloodworms on the days I feed him those. If people give me questions I will be answering them in additional details so please check back!
