I'm watching my friend's betta fish for her. Anyway I noticed lately that he's been acting really weird. He stays at the bottom of the tank or stays hidden in one of the plants. He NEVER swims. Sometimes I tap on the glass to make sure he's still alive and he will jump up, go to the top of the tank and then float back down. He's eating but I haven't seen him swim at all.. is he like depressed or something?
I haven't changed anything about his tank since I first started watching him, which was like three months ago. At first he was acting perfectly normal, swimming and all. Now the past couple of weeks he's been like this. The only thing "wrong" with the tank is that the lightbulb is out, but that can't matter too much...
