Betta Fish....Epsom Salt Treatment?

OK...so Im treating my betta with the epsom salts. Just one question, can I prepare the water and salt, pour some into a little cup, put the fish in the cup for 15 min and then put her back in her hospital tank. Then, since I didnt use all the water/salt solution, store it for the next day?
