So lately ive been conducting my own research on why everyone keeps saying DO NOT PUT MALE BETAS WITH FEMALES!! So..in November i bout 2 betas, a beautiful male blue beta, and a lighter purplish blue female beta. And...guess what..THEY DO NOT FIGHT! they really do not bother each other or care to be bothered by the other. There is ZERO aggression. So i tried yet another test.. Same male, Red female...the female did flare but the male ran, and as they got use to each other..they did not fight..does anyone know why this is? or has had the same experience? no im not being cruel to nature or animals, i just wanted to test this assumption that the pet store and others have about putting them together..
