I want to write on ribbon. Like a little message. It'd be ridiculous to type onto transfer paper or carve a stamp for and I don't want to take the time to paint it so I'm looking at pens/marker.
I'm wondering if sharpie will work well. Is there a type of ribbon that would be best to write on as far as being paper-like in the way that paper doesn't bleed into itself like when ink soaks too much into fabric. Would it be better to use fine tip or would it not write well on fabric? Which fabric markers would you recommend? I hope to get something with little to no drying time.
I'm hoping to do this on a college student budget.
