best way to carry a mountain bike in a 06 mustang?

It doesn't seem to fit in the trunk. I've also looked at Bike Racks but none seem to fit. If you've got any suggestions I'd love to hear them. Thanks!
 
I have a Miata and a RX8 both with a wing spoiler. The only thing that I found that would fit is a Saris Bones rack. That rack will fit about anything and has a lifetime guarantee.
