My blackberry pearl sucks at voice recording. I can barely make out any of the extremely quiet, fuzzy audio. Cranking up the volume makes it every worse.
Then I got a Sandisk Sansa Clip MP3 player -- it has a voice recorder function with decent quality, though the pickup sensitivity is still pretty weak. A friend's lecture recordings from a dedicated Olympus device has done wonders for my studying, and I ought to find myself something like this.
But, as a cell phone geek, and one who hates to have more than one device in my pocket, I of course want this functionality in a cell phone.
Have you had a very good experience with a cell phone voice-recording function? Very good sensitivity and quality?
I'm so committed to this, I'm willing to switch to any phone and/or drop my SERO plan to get good voice recorder functionality, and I'm sure there are a few other people out there who would like to know which models work the best.
