VERY slow Connection.? Hello,
This is our third deployment, but our first where we had access to be able to buy internet to use on his down time. It came in three different grades. Low for thirty dollars a month, medium for seventy dollars a month, and the high one for a hundred dollars a month. We splurged for the holidays, as he has been there for almost 11 months and will be there through Thanksgiving, Xmas, and New Years. We attempted to use ooVoo yesterday which is my video chat choice normally, but the lag was so awful that I couldn't see him most of them time and only heard one word. We ended up having to type messages back and forth. Does anyone know of a video chat program that may work better with this type of situation and/or tips on dealing with a slow connection. Anyone who has ever had someone you love in a war zone through the holidays knows how incredibly important this is for me.
