Best Verizon Smartphone

I need to get a new phone and unfortunately verizon is the only carrier around here that has decent service. The main reason I want a PDA/Smartphone is not for internet or emailing, but for intelligolf's golf tracking software and some sort of Excell type program that I can keep track of my poker winnings. Unfortunately the blackberry at this point isn't supported by intelligolf, but what phone aside from the blackberry would you consider the best PDA/Smartphone for verizon, or the best phone in the near future (1 month?) to be coming out?

Out of the WinMobile devices, I'd put my money on the Samsung i730. Otherwise the Treo 700p would be my choice. Everything else is a toss up due to QC issues--you either get a good one or a horrible one. Big Sammy has nearly never had a bad one that I've heard about, and issues seem to be few with the Palm OS treos of late.

There is a pantech smartphone coming out and i recommend the 6700 and the treo and Q in black.
