best verizon cell phones?

ok, so i have the lg env touch, i liked it at first, but then it started getting annoying, plus theres many problems developing with my phone. i went to the verizon store today and i have an upgrade available in one month. well since my phones not working completly working im taking the upgrade, but it seems im facing a problem. i looked at some phones and it seems thatr my env touch is the newest "best regular cell phone", besides the smartphones. I however really liked the droid by motorola, but i dont need all the things that have to come with it, like internet and everything. give me some opinions on what i should do or what phone i shouold look into. ps. i dont need the internet plan, but i would use it if i had it
