There's a ballroom dance tomorrow night. I usually dance with my hair completely down or in a tight ponytail, since this dancing involves quick turning and lots of physical activity, and anything less than uber-secure usually comes out quickly.
My hair is waist-length and currently near-ringlet curly. I'd like it off the front half of my neck and shoulders, since I need it out of my face so I don't get blinded. Half updo, I suppose. Want it long(ish) in back. I was thinking chignon or loose tucked french braid... but neither of these are particularly secure.
Does anybody know of any half-updo that will keep itself intact throughout a long night of dancing?
