I want ideas on purchasing a cook stove for camping - my budget is 300 bucks. I want a nice stove so we can cook easier for up to 10 people. I want it run on propane canisters if possible

10 folks is a lot to cook for. I have a small Coleman 2 burner stove, and it owrks great, but I'd probably want something bigger for a crowd that size. I also would want a stove that uses a full size 20 lb propane tank rather than the little 1 lb cans.

Check out this one at bass pro..

That link is for a similar question posted here about 2 weeks ago. My answer to that person is in there and is quite a bit lengthy because of its detail, some of it may not apply to you but I believe most would. Click on discover at the top right of the page and type in camping stoves etc there are thousands of answers to be found.

When you say propane canisters do you mean the "large" 1 liter green propane bottles or the small 250 gram canisters? Theres a big difference in both fuel consumption and size, along with the stoves that are compatible to the fuel. If you can give more details on whether its a canister or bottle I`ll be able to point ya in the right direction.

How long will you be camping for, will you be hiking or camping out of the car? Will this stove always be used for your group of 10?
