Best time to have sex w/condom without risk of pregnancy?

What is the best time to have sex without the risk of pregnancy and with using a condom for extra protection. a condom only works 98% of the time, and i want to be extra careful.

also, can someone explain the ovulation process? like how many days after your period are you most fertile and least fertile.
 
well sperm can live in the woman for up to a week...so it doesnt matter when your are ovolating....get the condoms with spermicide....and you should be fine
