I am taking the English Composition 1 CLEP Test, but my college also requires an essay to be submitted following a passing CLEP exam.

What is a popular and reliable English Composition 1 text book to study? I don't need study guides or help books, as I am already reading the following:

The Elements of Style - Strunk
Grammar & Style Notes - Jack Lynch
Word Power Made Easy - Norman Lewis
The little brown book - Fowler
