Best Tablet in the market? Or iPad 2?

Is the iPad 2 really that great? I heard you can't multi-task and theres no usb port. Would you have to buy a separate adapter for that? Are there rumours of an iPad 3 and its features?

Or should I get a tablet. Whats the best one out there?
