Best T-Mobile texting phone BESIDES sidekick?

I've had some AWEFUL expierences with sidekick slides(manufacturing issues) and i need a new phone(to do my sidekick malfunctioning AGAIN). I text alot but i also want a phone with good texting. My budget is aproxometlly $200, maybe $250. I will not start a new plan i am doing the even more plan, NO CONTRACTS!!!! Therefore no discounts, i am willing to possibly try craigslist. Thank you.
