The reason is that I just ordered all that I needed to hook my Mac up to my TV so I would like to find something that will enable me to use the wireless apple keyboard and mouse that I have while sitting in my recliner. Most of the normal stands will make you sit forward which kills my back after a while. I have looked online already but that all have been the same where I would have to lean forward or sit near the edge of my recliner. I'm one of those people that can't stand searching the internet for hours to find a product so unless I can get an answer quick I will have to deal with it or maybe in the future I will come across one in a store. I just spent a good bit of money at the apple store to hook my Macbook pro to my HDTV so I would love to be able to get something so I can sit in a recliner when at home comfortably.
That kind of stand can't slide under a recliner because the support on the bottom prevents it from getting close enough without leaning forward.
