best speaker selection for 2001 mercury sable wagon?

i want to replace the factory speakers on my sable ls premium wagon w/ mach audio system.i do plan on adding an amp and want nice clear highs and decent bass.i really dont want to add subs.i will be adding an aftermarket stereo most likely alpine or kenwood.i ahve 6 x 8s front and rear and 1 inch tweeters up toip of the front doors
