HTC Tilt 2
LG Expo
Motorola Backflip (the only android cellphone on at&t)
Samsung Propel Pro

I have tried out each of these and my favorite was the HTC Tilt 2 . It runs Windows Mobile 6.5, has a full, roomy QWERTY keyboard, is great for messaging, and is amazing for web browsing. Its a good phone for a business user.

For a more casual user: i'd recommend the motorola backflip. it has the roomiest qwerty out of every phone, it gives you one touch access to social networking sites like facebook, twitter, or myspace, runs on android (the only at&t device to.) and you can even buy apps and customize your homescreens using motorola's motoblur.

The LG Expo & the HTC Tilt2 is the best for business users, but the HTC Tilt 2 i'd have to say is better.

Hope I helped!! Oh and if you can wait a few months, at&t is coming out with many new smartphones for 2010 :)

I need a new phone. And since I have the money, I'm willing to go for the best phone out there. I know that AT&T isn't the best for Smartphones/Androids since AT&T wants to sell only iPhones, but I've done my research and have seen pretty decent ones (HTC Tilt2) HTC Phones are really nice!

In short, I don't really want to move to another network for a new phone. What is the best Android/Smartphone for AT&T? PREFERABLY one with a QWERTY keyboard (not touch screen)<--thats the main thing I ask for :)
