Ok,I have only shipped fish once, but I shipped 11 fish this way and only two died( and their still alive today). So this is what you do. First get some zip lock freezer bags. The double zipper and easy zipper should both do fine( however, I would go with easy zipper kind because I think there more water proof). Get a priority mail box big enough to shipped the bags. Put just enough water in the bag to cover the fish. Blow into the bag with either your mouth or a small air pump( ay should work, even bicycle pumps). A small pump is better because there is more oxygen. Put one fish per bag is its a quart or less, and up to 3 in a gallon bag. Cover the bottom of the bag with newspaper or anything that will insulate th bag. Put the bags in and then put as much insulating stuff as possible. If its cold where you're going to ship, use a Styrofoam container or cooler to put the bags in. After its packed, take it to the post Office. They will mail the fish. They may say you can not, but tell them to either look it up or tell them to look up domestic mail section 124.632. This should clear things up. Also, check online to make sure that I have the section right( this might also bring up that article that I got this shipping method from). Also, mark up the box live fish and fragile and put arrows pointing up to make sure that they keep it upright. The fish should get there within three days if you ship priority mail( this is how I shipped it). Also, do not feed the fish the day before shipping because the poop could pollute the bag.
Hope this helps!!!
