I'm looking for a anime or a manga with good comedy but tragedy as well. Like CLANNAD as the example for anime and GAKUEN ALICE as the example for manga. Preferably manga though.

I like genres like school life, slice of life, drama, psychological [but not too much], moe... basically shojo.
It would be good if the art/animations are good and new, I can't really stand reading/watching old or dodgy art. Take Clannad and Gakuen Alice as examples again.
The genres I don't like are ecchi, smut, mecha, sci-fi, blood and gore... but id say my exceptions were Hunter X Hunter and Full Metal Panic!+Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu! for anime and Psyren, Fairy Tail and Yankee-kun to Megane-chan for manga. I don't mind action and adventure, but I prefer the more fluffy genres
