Best romance books? your choice and bestsellers?

im looking for some really good romance books. whether its your personal favorites or some that were best sellers. whatever really. something realistic and gripping. nothing cheesy and obvious. set in present day and NO fantasy please.

DOPPELGANGER-by David Stahler Jr.
It's about a whole new species, called doppelgangers. They kill people, take over their bodies for a while, then leave them to find another. Well this doppelganger(not named untill the end) who is 16 has never done that before, since he lived with his mother all his life and all she did was talk about how bad everything is. Well hes finally set free and cant let go of the body hes taken over.
PLLEEEASSEEE READ IT I KNOW IT SEEMS KINDA WIERD BUT TRUST MEE. I read twilight, fyi and this book is NOTHINGGGG LIKE IT. (and yes it is a romance,not cheesy. its sort of a thriller but its not really scary at all)
 
Anything by Harlequin, I especially love their Intrigue line. I have no special book (or author) from this publisher. I tend to like most of what I read from there.
