Best prices for DVD's?

Wondered if anyone has any tips on the best prices to buy movie DVD's from? I used to buy from Play.com but Amazon.co.uk seems to beat them every time now. Looking at two at the moment (Basil Rathbone) Sherlock Holmes - The Definitive Collection cheapest so far

Prices change radically on a DVD to DVD basis. I wouldn't rely on one particular store to be any better than any other particular store in terms of price.

If I were you, I'd use a price comparison guide to see what the cheapest deal is and buy at that store: http://www.kelkoo.co.uk/ should do the trick ;)

Thanks! Play have got it right as I have read up on the package and its on several sites as well as "web user" magazine with the same picture. I had read that they had been released before but the set was not well put together.

The link you gave me is intriguing because its release date is also January 2005. Whether this is a third set I don't know.

Amazon have the same picture:

sendit.com has free pp too. Normally use play but was about to preorder the commander. Is 26.99 on there site but only 17.99 on sendit. choicesdirect.com good too.

www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk is the best I've found, it gives you the cheapest prices, and has different region sections, so if you have a multi region dvd player, you could save more. It has all the major ones on there though, amazon, play, choicesdirect, blah blah!
