I want to go backpacking in mountains tenting it every night. I plan to go for at least 5 nights. I don't really want it to be a "stay on the trails and camp only in designated areas" type of trip. Also, I plan to do this trip sometime between June 1st and September 1st.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Best place to go backpacking in mountains if I want to tent anywhere I want to and go on and off trails?
