We are getting married next July and looking at taking two weeks after the wedding and riding to the Sunshine Coast in BC, over to Vancouver Island, down the WA, OR coast to CA and then across from there as far east as the Black Hills and then back toward this area.

Hey Don, wow what a honeymoon you guys will have, is your future wife getting a bike too? 2 weeks kinda short for that trip though, I think.

have you seen this video? select 109, then video and finally click "full" image

We are looking at one for her, although she's not sure she wants to ride all the time on her own.
Looking at either C50s or S40 as far as Suzukis, otherwise the 750 Shadows.

Not sure if she will have her license yet by then

If she's new to riding, S40 is a great bike to get a solid foundation on. C50s and Shadows are longer wheel base and heavier making it more difficult for a new rider to handle, I've seen too many go down that route and end up paying for road rash or worse.

The m50 was a good starter, but the suzuki gearing gets old quick with these little engines, and since it's a shaft drive you can't change it. The motor has plenty of power for a new rider or a slow cruiser, just need to leave options open to changing gear ratio to fit your riding style. I will never get shaft drive again.

Here is my 2005 C50. It has 10" z-bar handlebars, new grips, drilled airbox and pipes, alarm system, cheapo hard bags, sissybar, etc...

This winter I have big plans for it...

Working on it!

Speaking of graphics, I was at this hot rod shop today in the town next to where I live. They have a lot of cool new stuff and of course a lot of stuff that looks like it's been there forever. In the section of the "been there forever" stuff, there was a large cardboard box with a dozen vinyl graphics pieces. It seemed like a catch-all for some old graphics from a few years back that never sold I'm guessing. I look through it for the heck of it and on the bottom are two decals, each about a foot long with 3/4" black letters spelling out "SUZUKI BOULEVARD".

Imagine that.
