Best phone to get for Sufing the web,text messeges, instant messeges, email?

Im not sure i want and which provider is best for this data plan? looking to spend no more then 300$.

i have a sprint palm treo 700wx that can do all that plus more. i only pay 30 a month plus a 25% corporate discount and that includes 500min plus unlimited data. i think sprint has the cheapest sprint plan. Sprint exchanged my ppc6700 for the treo so im unsure how uch it cost now. i think it was around 400 with new contract but dont quote me on that. It is very well worth it though.
