I have a little issue. I reactivated a new line with Cricket today with a phone that I have used with them before for my dad. This is the problem, today after activating I took the phone over to his apartment and he has basically no signal. I mean if you goto his bedroom he has like one bar and anywhere use it has no bars to searching and 50% of the time you cant make calls.
So, I either have 2 choices, I need to get him another service which will cost more or try and find a phone which gets better reception. He is using a Kyocera phone(Im unsure of the model) thats a Cricket phone but one they haven't sold in a while, its a candybar phone. So, whats the best cheapest phone Cricket sells right now that I can get that has the best reception????
Also, I paid $15 to activate an existing phone and could have gotten the first month free if I activated a new phone to begin with so this is gonna cost me more than I could have gotten it for. Anyone ever been in a similar situation with Cricket before, any chances of a refund of the activation or credit or something in this situation? It just really sucks. Any ideas or input?
