Best pedal for Piezo bridge to get a softer/acoustic type tone.?

So I just bought a JP7 BFR that has the Piezo option and I need to know what effects pedal you recommend I get to get the most out of it. My amp is a Boogie F50.

The tone I'm wanting is similar to the beginning of the song The Ministry Of Lost Souls. Well not the beginning but from about 50 seconds into the song. Also the intro of A Change Of Seasons also by Dream Theater.

If you're going for tone you can't go wrong with buying and learning how to use a 10 band EQ...
Compressors are supposed to sound nice, but I've never tried one...
Reverb (SLIGHTTT use) can soften up your tone... use less treble.

FWIW: They make some pretty cool acoustic sim. pedals...
