Best New Cartoon Of 08

I'd rather talk about the best cartoons than the worst so what do you think is the best new cartoon of 2008? There have been a lot this year. My favorite would have to be Total Drama Island.

Spectacular Spider-Man gets my vote. It had an amazing first season that has me anxiously waiting for the next one.
It was able to contemporize classic stories without losing that iconic feel or any of the danger, suspense, action and vibrance.

Spectacular Spider-Man is the only show I'd say that's better than mediocre. Hopefully the second season is better, though.

World of Quest, which is now gone from CW 4 Kids (formerly Kids WB on CW).

The Secret Saturdays has to be my favorite. An action/comedy that can actually succeed in being funny at times.

Chowder came out last year, and I haven't seen enough of TSS or Clone Wars or Alien Force to declare them the absolute best. So I go with The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, despite how much I hate its ugliness.

I would have to go with ?The Marvelous Misadventures Of Flapjack?. Its hilarity knows no bounds.

A tie between Flapjack and The Secret Saturdays.

Also not new but this year's season of Moral Orel is quite possibly the best television I have ever seen.

Since Chowder debuted last year, I'd have to go with The Secret Saturdays. It's a good mixture of comedy and adventure. Plus, for once, we have an adventuring family that's an intact family unit, with both a dad and a mom who doesn't just stay home preparing dinner while Dad and the kid are off saving the world.

I think I will have to say The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, but I like Phineas and Ferb and Mighty B! alot too.

I'd say, as others have, The Spectacular Spider-Man. It's really the only show I'd say is a "can't miss." But there's still a month or so left - maybe Batman: The Brave and the Bold will surprise me.

There have been quite a bit of good new cartoons this year. If I had to choose the best though? I would go with Spectacular Spider-man, followed closely by Secret Saturdays.

No question: Spectacular Spider-Man. It captures Spidey in a perfect way. The animation rocks, too.

Why would anyone want to kill you for liking Phineas & Ferb? That's your opinion, and you're entitled to it. Lots of people like that show, as indicated by its' continued success.

-Myself, I like the idea behind the show better than the actual execution, but that's just me.


The only thing wrong with your choice is that Phineas & Ferb debuted in 2007.

I'm going to say The Secret Saturdays as well. I haven't been this sucked into a cartoon's plotline since...well, ever.

Don't worry. I like this series, too. And I only started watching it last month. Very hilarious. I even changed my avatar to show how much I like it.
