most of the stars, and any one involved in "on any sunday" are now having a yearly showing and party in newport beach, ca. in either march or april. it appears that this is going to be an annual event. not real sure of the dates, but i'm sure you can look it up on the net.
i think the little kid doing the wheelie in the beginning is jeremy mcgrath. my vote is for on any sunday. but any movie with bikes is ok by me.

Biker Boyz and Torque made me feel embarrassed to be a rider.

The Fastest Indian wasn't a bad bike film, considering there were no explosions, aliens, heads comming off, ect,ect

The Roadracers, and V Four Victory have to be watched in the same evening. Just the best of the British documentary genre. Cook up a little Castrol R on the stove, and sit back with a pint. The complete lap of the Isle with a camera on the bike is done by Duke every year, but the commentary by Joey, and the absolute sense of speed on V4 is priceless. I think the best documentary of the rise of a (great) motorcycle racer.

Jay Leno said The Fastest Indian was the best movie he ever saw, and speaking as an old racer who has been to Bonneville I've met the Burt Munro type in racing, and seen the replica of the Munro Special at Wendover (really tiny). I think Anthony Hopkins played the real, all consumed, privater racer perfectly. I'd say the best movie about a motorcycle racer's desire and soul.

Mad Max introduced the idea of bad bikers on sport bikes. Before that they were all Wild Hawgs. I remember a bunch of us riding to the theater on KZ900's, H2's and GS1000's with clubman low bars, tarozzi rear sets, and Rickman ferrings for a movie that made almost all of us eventually go road racing.

"This is Condelini, and Condelini wants his hand back." Priceless. It's got to be the best biker film ever.

On Any Sunday was always touted as the best all biker movie, and who doesn't like Mert Lawell, Dick Man, Malcom Smith and that cool Steve guy, but it never really worked as well as the others fo me. Seemed a bit - endless summer beach boys ...ish.

Guess I've always felt that dirt is for plantin' potatoes!
