Best mobile phone used for basic reasons i.e photos of family+MSG?

My mum is wanting to get my Dad a new phone, but both me and my mum are stuck on what model to get. i've look allover but its very hard to single the best phone down for what we want. it needs to have a good Camera, bluetooth (uses hand free-he's a driving instructor so is in the car allot) apart form that just texting and calling, something easy, but in date. Cant be fiddly hes will not be patient enough! lol :-)
