Best method for healthy lifestyle after cigarettes?

Im a 32 year old smoker who works long hours and doing physical work. Im about to quit smoking (again) and I want to start a healthy routine and diet. Ive been smoking for about 15 years but over the past two years Ive been smoking on and off after many failed quitting attempts. I usually quit smokes for a few weeks to a few months and when I do I always start to exercise either running or swimming. I somehow always seem to get back on the ciggi's and then stop the exercise. Then I feel shit cos Im smoking and get the urge to quit again and thats where Im at now. I want to know if there is anything helpful to clean out my body and get me on track to better health faster. I can just drink nothing but water for a week and flush out my system or is that pointless? Is there any foods or supplements that can help? Are there any methods or measures that I can take to restore my health. Im willing to try any diet, detox, routine or any suggestion.
